Melsmon Injection, often referred to simply as Melsmon, is a revolutionary injectable solution derived from human placenta extract. Approved by the Japanese Welfare Ministry in 1956, this product has been in use for over 50 years in Japan. Manufactured to the highest standards, Melsmon is widely recognized for its benefits in promoting skin rejuvenation and restoring hormonal balance.

This injection is particularly effective in alleviating various menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes, irritability, insomnia, cold sensitivity, headaches, fatigue, and discomfort in areas like the neck, shoulders, or back. It is also utilized to address postpartum lactation challenges in women, further showcasing its diverse applications.

Possible side effects of Melsmon include chills, fever, rashes, or redness at the injection site. Patients experiencing these symptoms should immediately inform their healthcare provider. To ensure safety, the manufacturer rigorously tests each placenta for viruses like HBV, HCV, and HIV, ensuring the raw material is contamination-free. The final product undergoes steam sterilization at 121°C (250°F) for 30 minutes, guaranteeing protection against viral or bacterial infections.

Melsmon serves a variety of purposes, including combating early signs of aging by improving skin elasticity and hydration. It helps reduce hyperpigmentation, dark under-eye circles, and enlarged pores, and is effective in correcting acne scars and enhancing overall skin texture. Additionally, Melsmon supports recovery after cosmetic procedures and is valuable for both pre- and post-plastic surgery care.

The injection works by restoring hormonal balance and stimulating cell regeneration. As aging reduces collagen and elastin production, Melsmon counteracts these effects by promoting better blood circulation and enhancing skin vitality.

Administered via subcutaneous injection, the recommended dosage depends on the patient’s needs. For early menopause prevention, 2-3 injections per week for two weeks are advised for individuals aged 35-40. For severe menopausal symptoms, treatment often begins with one ampoule every other day for 2-3 weeks, followed by a tapering schedule. It is essential to administer Melsmon under medical supervision, especially for individuals with cardiovascular or hypersensitivity issues.

With over five decades of safe use in Japan, Melsmon has an excellent safety profile. However, patients should consult a healthcare professional before beginning treatment to ensure it is appropriate for their health needs.
